I love the gang at Spex Appeal; from booking the eye test to picking up my second pair of Gregory Pecks this afternoon, it's been a pleasure. The eye test at the High Street branch was thorough and professional; the choice of frames available is great, and the prices fair, transparent, and good value.I'm always on the lookout for a slightly off-beat choice of frame, so I was chuffed to be introduced to the range from Flama ( I think Spex Appeal are the only Scottish stockists ) - suffice to say, I had to have them.The whole team are lovely, and funny, and kind. Thanks again folks!

l visited Spex Appeal for first time today as a friend recommended them to me. Well, l will definitely be back. Lynn and Alan were so friendly! Lynn was extremely helpful and chose various spectacles for me to try on and advised which ones suited me. They have a huge range to choose from, crazy colourful ones to sensible plain ones. Lynn told me she travels over to Milan to personally choose which spectacles she wants to sell in her shops. EXcellent service!

I started using Spex Appeal a few months ago the staff were very friendly professional and gave me loads of advice to help me pick my first pair of Varifocal glasses which have been amazing and I have been able to adjust to them straight away . The glasses have also help with the glare off car headlights at night as well . I’ve been so happy with them I went back a few weeks ago and purchased a pair of sun glasses . There is loads of frames to choose from and advice to help you choose the right onesWould definitely recommend and will definitely be back in the future

First time at the Abbey Mill last week but have been a long standing customer with the High Street Store. I was so impressed with the range of glasses available. the Spex Appeal team have never failed us. We set them what we thought was an impossible task to deliver a replacement set of prescription goggles by Monday before we flew off on holiday, ordered on the Thursday. Not only did they deliver but they were still better value than others who couldn’t have delivered in time. It’s always good to support a local business over a big corporate chain but it’s so much easier when the local business is this good.

Has an emergency eye appointment due to double vision and the optician was amazing! Very thorough and calming and took her time to reassure me not to worry. She also gave me a hug after the test as I was very stressed. Highly recommend.

Excellent service, great selection of frames and very reasonably priced. My husband even got his glasses dropped to the house as he couldn’t make it in to collect them until the following week due to work. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be back.

Fell and broke glasses and my opticians in Paisley where I bought them from couldn't repare them .Within 10 mins they had repaired them With new lenses they have charged me half the price .I will be back and tell my friends Thank you x

Great place. Honest opinions as to what suits - never felt like I was being upsold anything. A personal service with a family appeal to the place. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now, and the glasses I got are absolute belters. A much more special experience than going to one of the larger chains. Also a fantastic range, I was spoiled for choice.

Had a great experience phone enquiring about a particular Oakley frame Lynn said she did have them but had just sold last one agreed to go in to look at other Oakley fame's that they had went at the weekend and Lynn had got the frame I was after for me to try that is real service was delighted with this ordered my glasses had thes now for a couple of weeks and they are the best fres I have ever had anyone who plays sports or drives a motorcycle or just can't get a pair of glasses that won't stay in place and just try Oakley hex jector they do not move at all thank you all at spex appeal great service great business.

I started a new job which involved a lot more computer work, I was told I needed glasses for the 1st time in my life,in my 50's it was a daunting thought but these guys made it the easiest & most comfortable experience for me.
